Thank you My granddaughter loved her cake and it was delicious from what everyone said. I ordered by phone since i couldn't be in person there for her birthday. Adrian took my order, I payed online and whala Adrian created a wonderful 🎂 cake. Thank You so very much!! This what she wanted and more on her 😍 beautiful cake!

I’m from Mexico, coming from NC , where there are many pastelerias. Here in Hampton/Newport News I have not seen any good ones until now. We got 2 tres leches slices and Horchata. Lemme tell you is worth it. I asked and they make their cakes in house, unlike many places around where they buy them to re sell them. The cakes were moist and full of flavor, the baker know what they doing. Horchata was not from syrup either, I could taste the hint of rice which is rare to find a place that makes their own horchata. Can definitely recommend and will come back to try more stuff. The only thing they need is to add a panadería. Try it!

Wonderful customer service! Delicious pastries- the best tres leches cake I’ve had in a long time. The flan was creamy and packaged beautifully. Definitely recommend this bakery! Very spacious location and modern decor too.

I would be remiss not to thank Maria for the absolutely beautiful unicorn cake she made for my daughter’s 5th birthday celebration. 🎂💖 Her attention to detail and personal touch showed so much love for my baby on her special day! From the start, Maria was fantastic—she not only customized the cake to our theme but also took the time to text me to confirm all the details before finalizing. With the bakery's hours in mind, I initially planned to pick up the cake the night before to store it properly. However, Maria offered to come in early on the day of the party, which was incredibly thoughtful and ensured I wouldn't have to worry about mishandling the cake. Even though I was already at the store, I truly appreciated her willingness to help. The cake itself was impeccable—packaged beautifully, and her service was just as amazing! Maria even walked me out to my car, ensuring I got the cake in safely. It was a hit at the party—a gorgeous work of art that everyone loved! 🎉 From now on, I will only trust Maria for all our bakery needs. 🫶🏾 Thank you, Maria!

I had my elopement cake made here and my husband and I both rate it a 10/10 the best cake we’ve ever had. Both the flavor of the icing and cake was out of this world, not to mention they brought my design vision to life. Our cake was so tasty and beautiful for our special day! OMG 🤯!!! The Tres Leche Cake is off-the-chart good!!! Better find someone to share with, because it's huge! Great, friendly service and Maria is a fantastic baker! Absolutely amazing! We came in and tried 6 different desserts and every one of them was perfect. Cakes are so moist and fluffy and the cheesecake (caramel) was to die for. The owner was extremely nice and came out and talked to our party. Would highly recommend and will most definitely be back!!!

I recently ordered a cake for my son from Pasteles de María, and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and taken care of. They were friendly, patient, and truly went above and beyond to help me choose the perfect cake. You can tell they take pride not only in their work, but also in the way they treat their customers. The cake itself was absolutely amazing. The design was beautiful, detailed, and better than what I had imagined. You can see the love and craftsmanship in every part of it. And the taste wow. Moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Everyone at our event kept asking where we got it from because it stood out that much. It wasn’t just a dessert; it really brought the whole celebration together. What impressed me even more was their professionalism. They kept great communication, made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it, and delivered right on time. It’s rare to find places that care this much about quality and customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Pasteles de María to anyone looking for a delicious cake and exceptional service. We will definitely be returning for future events. Thank you to the entire team you guys are amazing!

Hands down my favorite bakery in all of Virginia!! I make the 3 hour drive from northern va all of the time because nowhere else compares to Maria’s pastries. She makes all of my birthday cakes and I recommend her to everyone. Everything is always so good and fresh but some of my personal favorites are the brownies, lemon cupcakes, and the horchata. 10/10 every time
